Mentor Program
Scholarship recipients have the opportunity to be mentored by SOAR volunteers. SOAR recruits qualified volunteers and alumni to communicate regularly with students to give guidance to students on their studies and life in general. Mentors also provide feedbacks to SOAR on students’ ongoing needs.

To serve as a mentor for the SOAR Foundation scholarship program, you must agree:
The purpose of mentoring is to provide guidance appropriate for a developing student interested in academic achievement. Discussions of political or religious nature are not permitted.
There shall not be any financial transactions, agreements or sponsorships between the student and the mentor.
Should any change of mentor's phone and address, or substitution of mentor occur, please notify the Mentoring Program Committee immediately.
Mentorship is an important part of SOAR Scholarship program. If the mentor finds anything of concern during the course of the correspondence, the mentor should fill out the Mentor Suggestion form and send it to the SOAR office.
